Nike Air More Uptempo was made popular by Scottie Pippen during the second three-peat with the Chicago Bulls. Originally 1996 with its nubuck material design and the oversized AIR on the side of the sneaker, it was no mistake that this shoe was made to capture the consumers eye. This shoe was Air More Uptempo rereleased in 2006 with leather instead of nubuck and 2010 with the original nubuck design.
The shoe that lifted Scottie Pippen to his second Gold Medal is set to return. A fan favorite, the Nike Air More Uptempo is set to retro for the first time ever in the popular Dream Team 2 colorway. Complete with a navy upper and white “AIR” on the upper, this retro keeps it original even including the golden number eight on the back. Look for this Olympic colorway to hit House of Hoops locations in the near future.
